Lightbulb Moment

  • Noticed that his clients that had done really well and were well-prepared for retirement, had worked hard at creating and building assets and income streams, that have regular monthly cash flow sources coming in
  • Those who were not doing so well in terms of their retirement, had worked on the “accumulation theory” where you save, save, save and when they retire, withdrawal, withdrawal, withdrawal. The problem is, people are living longer, inflation, unexpected expenses and many people are running out of funds sooner
  • Ongoing monthly income streams are the real security for the future

Biggest Mistakes

  • Started out in real estate
  • Not knowing the operations of his properties inside and out nearly destroyed his investing
  • Handed over his properties to a property manager without knowing what he wanted them to do
  • Now, he makes sure he knows all aspects of every investment he makes

Biggest Success

  • His ability to grow and differentiate his company through various media
  • He’s really a media company (YouTube videos, website, social media)
  • Has had to master one social media at a time – Twitter and Instagram primarily
  • Provide value, share information first

How His Company Helps Others

  • Helps investors to create an infrastructure to help them capture their wealth
  • Create a cashflow management system for their own personal and business economy
    • Uses a special life insurance vehicle to accomplish this
    • Uses a chassis of dividend paying whole life insurance with a mutual company – structured on the “Infinite Banking” concept
    • A private contract between you and the insurance company
    • Provides liquidity
    • Guaranteed principal and interest rate
    • You are also a shareholder and can share in dividends
    • Growth inside this vehicle is tax-free
    • Provides asset protection in most states
    • Can secure real estate assets
    • Can pass on benefits tax free to your children and grandchildren

How “Infinite Banking” Works With Real Estate

  • You access your assets through policy loans through your mutual insurance company
  • You borrow the funds from the “general account” of the mutual insurance company
  • The loan is separate and does affect the cash value of policy
  • A cash flow management system that you can control that redirects cash flows into your own economy
  • You can also use this approach to fund college, help purchase a house for your kids and more

His Company

  • He sees the current model of financial planning has failed a lot of people
  • Sees his mission as helping peopleto  create security in their wealth plan and leverage it for multiple steams of income

Rap-It-Up

  • Favorite cash flow generating book: The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin
  • Favorite business book: The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

  • If you had to start all over, knowing what you know, and you only had $1,000, what would you do to launch your business? Identify a problem that needs to be solved and post solutions on YouTube and other online portals. Target people that have that problem.  Through networking with the groups, provide value and a product that can be offered online.
